Dog Riding in Transportation

5 Myths about Animal Transportation

We know that most pet owners will do anything to assure that their precious family member is safe, and it is why it can sometimes be scary to rely on a company to bring your pet to a destination. At ATW, we always try to do the best when it comes to pet transport, and it is why keeping your pet safe is a primary motto. However, some misconceptions about ground and air transportation have been repeating themselves on the internet, so we thought it best to clear up any worries you may have.

1. Ground Transport is More Stressful for My Pet

Some claims on the internet have gone around that ground transport is more stressful for a pet because of longer transportation times. While this may be true for other transportation companies, here at Animal Transportation Worldwide, we offer PetExpress and PetFirstClass. Both of these services work to transport your pet faster than the competition. So, your pet will travel less and get to the destination faster.

Along with this, now with our air-services, your pet can be delivered the same-day to your house. You won’t have to worry about the transport taking weeks. So, you can relax instead of fretting about pet transportation.

2. Ground Transportation is Always Extremely Expensive

While ground transport can be more expensive than air transport, it does not always need to be this way. Our combination of ground and air transport starts at $245, so you don’t need to break the bank to get super transportation. We always advocate for the best service and PetConomy is still a luxury service even if it is more affordable. With a pet flight attendant onboard during a pet’s flight, your pet will always enjoy human interaction! So, sit back and let us do all the hard work!

3. It’s Hard to Find a Reputable Company for Pet Transportation

4. My Pet will Travel Uncomfortably in a Van

Yes, if your pet is traveling in your small sedan, it may be uncomfortable for them. But, with our vans, your pet will be living their best traveling life. We allow your pets to bring a pet bed and 5 pounds of pet food. Along with this, they get to bring along a toy if it is larger than their mouth.

Pets always have access to food and water, and we create our custom kennels made from tenderfoot lining. These kennels follow the requirements set by the USDA and IPATA. Your pet will have plenty of room while traveling! We love your pet like our own, so you can rest assured that they will be in the best care.

5. All Transportation Companies are Dangerous for My Pets

Not true! In 2017, 18 pets died on a United Airlines flight while being transported in the cargo section of the plane.  And since United Airlines and most other airlines are not allowing emotional support animals to travel in the cabin of an airplane, most animals will need to be transported in the cargo section of the plane.

However, Animal Transportation Worldwide has come up with a safer way to transport animals. Why not just have airplanes with pets! That way, the pets will be treated like passengers and not a side piece in the cargo section of an airplane. With our new pet airline, pets will be treated as first-class passengers, and it is why we advocate for this travel method instead of the treatment major airlines give to pets.

So, if you pick us, your pet will be safer than most!
