USER FEES FOR APHIS ENDORSEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL PET HEALTH CERTIFICATES
All current User Fees can be found in §130.20 of the 9CFR “User Fees for Endorsing Export Certificates.”
The below chart provides information specifically related to fees for APHIS endorsement of a certificate or document associated with the international movement of a pet from the United States to a foreign country. The fees highlighted in yellow in the left column apply to each certificate APHIS endorses; the right column provides an explanation of when the various fees are charged. These fees are separate from the fees your veterinarian may charge to issue the certificate or document that APHIS needs to endorse.
Please note: APHIS does not charge endorsement User Fees for service animals (dogs) belonging to individuals with disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Although APHIS recognizes the importance of all animals in their owners’ lives, we do charge User Fees to endorse health certificates for emotional support animals and any other animal not officially covered by the ADA.
Clients are strongly encouraged to work with their local APHIS Veterinary Services Endorsement Office with any questions about your pet’s travel or the User Fees associated with APHIS endorsement.
