When traveling with your pet internationally, there are health requirements specific to each country. Regulations can cause confusion and ultimately delay transportation if they are not met to the country’s specifications. Almost every country has different laws for entering with pets whether by ground or air.
In order to transport your pet to The Bahamas, you must obtain a health certificate along with an import application. You must apply for an import permit at least 4 weeks prior to transport. The health certificate is not required to be endorsed by APHIS, however it does need to be signed by a USDA licensed Veterinarian.

Air Pet Transport to Bahamas
Airlines have their own regulations for transport. An health certificate may be required for transport even though it is not a regulation that Iraq has for import. These regulations may also differ depending on which airline is being used for transport for your pet.
